Hunting Island is a beautiful coastal park located about 15 miles east of Beaufort, SC. A lighthouse reservation does not include parking and does not guarantee entry to the park. The lighthouse remains open to the public to admire as part of the Hunting Island State Park. It was formerly accessible only by boat, but is presently connected to the mainland by a bridge and causeway.
