Environmental Engineer
Lead environmental assessments, monitoring programs, and compliance reporting for diverse projects across the UAE & GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental baseline studies
- Perform air quality, water quality, noise, soil, and emission monitoring campaigns
- Prepare regulatory compliance reports for EAD, ADNOC, MOEI, and other UAE authorities
- Develop waste management plans, sustainability strategies, and green building assessments
- Carry out HSE audits, site inspections, and environmental risk assessments
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government regulatory bodies on project approvals
- Review and validate environmental management plans and technical documentation
- Support team in training delivery and capacity-building workshops
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in environmental consultancy or a related industry in the UAE/GCC
- Strong knowledge of UAE environmental regulations (EAD, ADNOC, MOEI standards)
- Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring equipment and lab procedures
- Excellent technical report writing and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GIS or AutoCAD is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
Sales Engineer
Drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting GCEEC's environmental and HSE consultancy services across the UAE & GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UAE & GCC environmental services market
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in construction, oil & gas, and industrial sectors
- Prepare compelling technical proposals, cost estimates, and client presentations
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Coordinate with the technical team to accurately scope, price, and deliver proposals
- Represent GCEEC at industry exhibitions, events, and networking forums (ADIPEC, WETEX, etc.)
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM pipeline with all client interactions and deal status
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and emerging client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in engineering or environmental services
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the UAE market
- Established network within the UAE/GCC construction, industrial, or energy sectors
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical services to non-technical clients
- Experience using CRM tools and maintaining accurate sales pipelines
- Valid UAE driving licence required; willingness to travel within UAE & GCC
