Event overview
Where the energy transition meets environmental practice
ADIPEC brings together energy producers, contractors, technology providers and policymakers from around the world every November in Abu Dhabi. The 2026 edition ran from 2 to 5 November at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, hosted by ADNOC.
For an environmental engineering consultancy, few events are more relevant. The projects discussed in the halls and conference rooms of ADIPEC — new gas processing capacity, carbon capture, hydrogen, power and coastal infrastructure — all depend on environmental approvals, emissions reporting and a clear understanding of the ground they are built on.
GCEEC was represented by its Managing Director, Mian Asad Imran, who attended to connect with operators, EPC contractors and partners across the energy value chain, and to follow the conference discussions on decarbonisation and responsible project delivery in the region.
ADIPEC 2026 also comes as GCEEC broadens its technical offer. Alongside our established environmental, climate and HSE services, we now provide geological and geotechnical services — soil investigation, engineering geology, hydrogeology, geophysical surveys and marine sediment studies — so energy and infrastructure clients can work with one team from ground investigation through to environmental approval.
This is the second consecutive year GCEEC has taken part in ADIPEC, following our participation in ADIPEC 2025.
